Interview on the PHILEAS campaign

In the PHILEAS project (Probing High Latitude Export of Air from the Asian Summer Monsoon), measurement flights with the high-altitude research aircraft HALO were conducted from August to the end of September 2023 to investigate the influence of the Asian summer monsoon on the global climate. The campaign was led by the Forschungs zentrum Jülich and Johannes Gutenberg University Mainz. Franziska Köllner, a researcher at the Institute of Atmospheric Physics (IPA) at JGU was also part of the team.
